Factory analytics with OptiCloud shows the way to industrial production without rising labor costs

Does a desire for increased production capacity without increasing labor costs sound unlikely to you? It doesn't have to be with a factory analysis and an Opticloud installation.

Our customer, who produces greenhouses and conservatories, saw potential in a very high-paying product. Their aim was therefore to increase production capacity without proportionally adding labour costs.

However, their production was characterised by joinery production and manual handling, which did not make it possible to achieve the goal.

We did an analysis project for the customer, where we mapped capacity needs now and in the future. We calculated the current efficiency and cost of production and mapped the routes for the components of the end product.

To this end, we drew up the production lines for a shift to industrial production and proposed which machines could solve the challenges of a realistic return.

The customer received a layout with enrolled machines, a sheet with calculation on reimbursement, and recommendations for priority order of change against industrial production.

Our first recommendations were a restructuring of inventory and picking method, which the customer decided to implement immediately and is very successful with.
