Things are moving fast at KPK Doors and Windows.

Increasing demand for wood/aluminum windows prompts the Inwido owned door and window manufacturer to invest millions in a new CNC aluminum plant from our German supplier SHM Stegherr GmbH.

The multi-million investment will facilitate the work processes in the production of aluminum frames for doors and windows and help streamline the manufacturing processes, thereby securing production in Denmark.

- We are experiencing an increasing demand for our wood/aluminum doors and windows, where the outer frame consists of the easy-to-maintain aluminum, which we can customize in most colors. Therefore, we have long looked at the possibilities of streamlining the production processes so that we can continue to keep up with future demand, says Jacob Nielsen, Production Manager at KPK Doors and Windows, in a press release about the investment.

The plant eliminates time-consuming intermediate stations in the production of the aluminum frames.

- Until now, we have moved the aluminum frames around the production line to employees who have manually sawed the lengths, drilled holes for handles and finished the frames. The new facility automates these processes without compromising on quality and brings all the manufacturing processes together in one place," explains Jacob Nielsen.

The CNC aluminum plant was installed in the spring and has just been commissioned.
